Raising a child with disability can feel isolating. Parent to Parent connects families throughout Aotearoa so no one has to navigate that journey alone.

With a network of over 600 trained parents, tailored information packs, support groups, and life-changing workshops, Parent to Parent is doing the mahi to create a network for parents raising children with disabilities.

Parent to Parent’s workshops equip families with the tools they need to navigate significant milestones, challenges, and transitions in their family member’s life. Spectrum Foundation’s funding focused on guidance navigating the education system.

When Nirishma wanted to enroll her son Ayaan in school, she didn’t know where to begin. What support could he access? Could he attend a mainstream school at all? There was limited information out there, leaving her feeling frustrated and powerless.

That changed when she met Frian, host of Parent to Parent’s ‘Build a Good Life’ workshops.
