For many elderly people and people with disabilities, their independence depends on having access to quality mobility equipment. Unfortunately, many don’t.
To address this problem, Independent Living provides assistive products and information for those requiring mobility assistance. They offer a free repair service, as well as refurbishing and donating used equipment.
They exist to improve equity and access for people with disabilities, those living with an impairment, their whānau, and their support networks.
Spectrum Foundation funded their equipment repair services in and around Auckland. Because freedom of mobility contributes to people with disabilities living great lives.
